Description: Offered here is WW2 Canadian Army Winter Wool Cap Size: Extra Small (6-3/6 to 6-1/2") This one is perfect for your display and / or good enough condition to be worn in cold weather. The hat is made with a wool serge exterior, flannel interior, fold down ear flaps, front brim, tie straps, and a button on the peak. It is in very good overall condition. Cleaned and ready to use. No moth holes, no rot, no worn thin areas, no loose stitching, the tie straps are still there, and no rips on the body. The front brim does not have the usual small holes from a cap badge, but it does have some small red paint spots that can be seen in the pictures. There is also a small faint white stain on the back. The manufacture stampings normally found on the inside are faded and long gone, I took an educated guess as to the size. The material and build quality is amazing, nothing modern can compare. You get the hat / cap shown in the pictures. SHIPPING: I combine shipping. Most times you can get a combined rate from me if you add items to your cart and then request a total before paying. Item is located in Canada, however I mail your item(s) from my address in the US. I do it this way because if I used Canada Post from my location the shipping rate would be higher, and cross border fees would be charged by the border agencies. I cover the cost of transport to and over the border, as well as cover any import fees / duty. I use USPS so you will be fully insured and tracking will be available once I mail in the US. I travel across the border 2 x each week, so there will be at most a 3 day delay getting into the post. Alternatively if I mailed within Canada to the USA it would be at least a week before the items crossed the US border as customs always delays things. Canada Post will not insure, nor will they provide a tracking number. The way I do it is faster for you, cheaper for you, safer, more private, more efficient, and far more accurate. Shipping in Canada: Canada Post Expedited (Insured and tracked). Canada Post is VERY expensive to use...Dont blame me, I dont set the rates they charge....In addition to the high Canadian Postal Rates, eBay and Paypal both take a % of the shipping charges - which in turn drives up the shipping rates for buyers. I charge a flat rate to anywhere in Canada - sometimes it costs me a little more, sometimes its a little less, in the end and in the big shipping picture I make no profit off from shipping charges. International shipping: First Class International: If you do not see your country listed then most likely I will not ship to you as I have have issues with your postal service in the past. I may make an exception if you contact me. Your item will be mailed and insured for the full amount. Please do not ask me to reduce the value for customs; I will not commit that sort of fraud. As well, I insure for the full amount and cannot use a lower dollar value for customs purposes. USPS claims a delivery time of 6 - 10 business days to many major markets; however from personal experience it WILL be longer. Tracking gets updated at all steps of the delivery. I use my US location to initiate the package from because it is less than 1/2 of the cost to use Canada Post.
