Description: A hard-to-find find circa 1900th-1920th Winchester Repeating Arms model 2931 2-bladed Slim Jack folder with burnt jigged bone handle scales with the "shield" inlay on one side and German silver bolsters. This rare knife is used but it is in better-than-average condition for the type - both blades open and close with a soft snap; the springs are strong; all parts are tight. The knife is about 3-1/4" / 8.3 cm closed; the larger "long pull" sabre-point blade is about 2-1/2" / 6.3 cm long. The main blade is trade-marked on one side of the tang; model number 2931 is stamped on the other. Blades have been polished and sharpened; the edges are razor-sharp still; tips are intact. Jigged bone handle scales are in excellent condition, considering the age - no cracks, chips or repairs. These well-made pre-Depression Winchester folders are VERY hard-to-find nowadays.
