Description: For sale I have a Peanuts 40th Anniversary VW Beetle Music Box made by Willitts, #19016, that plays "King of the Road". Based on my research of historical eBay sales, this piece is so rare it hasn't been on eBay in 2 years. I was a heavy Peanuts collector since the 90's and the Willitts car music boxes were my most treasured pieces. It is in great condition, the only issue is some scratches on the right car door, but I can't see them head on, only when tilted into the light just right. I think they are pretty minor but I try to note everything a buyer might find important. There are other surface level defects in the finish and paint but they are so minor they aren't worth mentioning - you will find such manufacturing defects in almost any ceramic piece due to the hand-made process. The music box works great. The display box has some wear including some tearing of the graphics on one side. Please see attached photos for details.
