The lid has raised, ribbed piping for an accent around the entire matchbox. The scene in white relief on the lid depicts Ulysses Staying the Chariot of Victory. Dimensions are Length 3 ½” x Width 1¾” x Height 1¼”. This lidded matchbox is in mint condition. The marking on the bottom include WEDGWOOD, MADE IN ENGLAND, WP, F. This must have Wedgwood piece would make a stunning addition to any collection. This Wedgwood box was acquired from the estate of a very well known Wedgwood collector.
