Up for sale today is a copy of Marvel Comics UK's WCW (World Championship Wrestling) # 7, circa 1993. HTF issue; low print run! 1st printing. VERY scarce Marvel UK import! Magazine sized, generally with a sealed pack of trading cards taped to the front cover (the same types of promos they were including with the Doctor Who Magazine during this era) glossy center pages and a centerfold poster. A product of WCW's attempts to push into the European market back in the day! Photo cover featuring the only time Jimmy "Jam" Garvin ever graced the cover (with poor Brad Armstrong as Badstreet all but hidden in the background). Centerfold poster (Beautiful Bobby Eaton and Paul E. Dangerously / Heyman) is intact! "Body Building" page featuring Van Hammer (essentially a variation on the old paper dolls) is intact! Back cover photo pin-up of Big Josh (Matt Borne / Doink). This issue reprints WCW (US) # 9, I believe. Rare comic appearances of Sting, Ricky Steamboat, Rick Rude, Mick Foley as Cactus Jack (though poor Mick was never THAT fat!), Ron Simmons, Arn Anderson, Van Hammer (sure, you remember him...), the Steiner Brothers, Paul Heyman and many more! Solid lower mid-grade copy, around a G/VG. The trading cards have been removed, though the factory tape holding them remains. Moderate spine wear and rippling. Moderate edge wear and creasing throughout. Heavy bottom corner rolling/creasing. Interior pages are clean and solid, with no tears or writing noted. Heavy edge tanning. Solid enough copy that just wasn't stored properly. A good pressing will certainly bump this up a grade or so. Please see the pictures for the exact copy that you shall receive.
