VTG WATERFORD 10" SHIP'S DECANTER~RARE PATTERN W/ TRAILING LEAF DESIGN ON BASE!!

Description: This listing is for (1) 10" Waterford Ship's Decanter. It has the "Waterford etched signature" on the bottom side as you will see in my pictures and a cut crystal stopper that mimics the pattern on the decanter. What is very unusual is that this decanter includes a border of intersecting leaves that are cut into the glass right below the neck. I tried very hard to locate which pattern this was but finally gave up after looking up about 30 of them! I really like the leaf pattern as it makes this piece all the more unusual than the more common patterns you see all the time. My husband received this as a special award early in his career and we've owned it for many, many years. We are preparing to significantly downsize to a much smaller house and so we need a new owner for it as we won't have room for a China cabinet or bar cart in the next house. It is in beautiful, "like new" shape as it was only displayed in my China cabinet. However, I do want you to know that there is a small "cloudy" V-shaped mark on the bottom of the decanter that is part of the glass itself -see my last picture. I never noticed it until I was taking pictures and it is very hard to see from the outside unless you are REALLY looking for it and/or shining a light on it. I am a very honest seller, however, and I did want you to know about it prior to purchase as I do not accept returns. Please know that my price reflects this cloudy small occlusion in the glass. It would certainly not be visible should you use the decanter to store spirits. Even empty, is very difficult to see due to the many crystal facets and the way they break the light pattern. Please take a look and see if it bothers you. I have taken pictures of all sides of it, turning the decanter a quarter turn so you can see every side and numbering them so you will know what you are looking at. The Waterford Makers Mark was difficult to photograph due to all the glass facets but it is there and is shown in my 2nd last picture. Please look at my pictures as they are part of the description and ask any questions prior to purchase. I am an excellent packer (see my reviews) and this will be well packed to assure its safe arrival. It doesn't do either of us any good for something to be poorly packed and arrive broken.
