VTG Frederick's Of Hollywood Blue 2 Pc Lingerie VERY RARE 40s 50s Elephants XS

Description: This is an incredibly rare set from the late 40s to late 50s according to the label style. The babydoll style top is approx 17” collar to bottom hem. No adjustable satin pink straps are about 13” overall. The panty style bottoms are 18” relaxed at the waist and leg holes are about 13-14” relaxed. Elastic is in perfect condition, There is one little sheer pink elephant stitched to the panty and 3 stitched to the top, two at the straps, along with one on the front center with a pink ribbon as well. Each elephant has a prong-set clear rhinestone eyes. The details on this set slay me. Both garments are completely sheer. There are no holes or snags anywhere that I can note. I do see one small mark on one of the shoulder straps, please see pictures where I’ve pointed this out. I don’t believe (though I cannot guarantee) that either piece has ever been washed judging by the paper tags which are still attached and do not appear to have ever been wet. I bought this set at an auction, it was folded and the factory-fold-like creases lead me to believe it had never been worn. I steamed the piece to flatten the ribbon & elephant appliqué and inadvertently steamed the creases, too. This is a very long way of saying I don’t believe the piece has been worn, though again, I can’t be certain.
