Description: I believe this decanter was make in the Deco Era, probably between the Wars, in Czechoslovakia. It is probably Bohemian Glass, in that it was made in Bohemia, but not the typical flashed red then cut, like most of the glass coming from that area. Today, it is hard to find a decanter with a 9 1/2 inch stopper that is blown, cut, polished, and covered with gold leaf and enamel, and weighs one pound! And, fits snugly into a beautifully decorated decanter. There is only one 1/4 inch chip near the bottom of the decanter. It is not that noticeable, as you will see in that photo. Every other discrepancy is a concealed flea bite. The photos show 2 on the underside of the stopper, and 3 or 4 on the covered part of the rim of the bottle. You will see an etched, hand scratched "10" inside the decanter, and a "9" on the stopper for the manufacturer to match them up. Please inspect the photos carefully to determine condition.
