Description: From my collection is this Tin made in Japan Volkswagen Samba bus which I’ve had for many years. Made by Bandai It’s in very good condition having lived in a glass cabinet during my possession. Bandai was one the better and more accurate producers of tin litho auto toys from the period. The tin litho detailing extends to the plaid seats in the interior and is just one neat aspect of this well detailed toy. The rear hatch door opens. The driver is at the wheel. The battery compartment is clean and I believe it hasn’t had a battery in it. It is untested. On the roof is the original product sticker. This is a nice example of this scarce Bandai Toy. The Volkswagen’s 23 window SAMBA Bus is one of the most desirable of the bus series both in toy miniature and in real life having brought multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars at auction.
