Description: Vintage 1950's United Airlines TV Model Plane Photos & Decal Mockup Art. Aviation History. Here is a great collection of United Airlines items. I believe they are all for TV Miniature Model Mock-up Planes. These came from an old advertising agency here in Hollywood California. They were located for a time in The Crossroads of the World on Sunset Blvd. We have a variety of pieces from this estate that we have been selling. I think the man in the photos included is this collection was the owner of the ad agency. You will get everything you see pictured in this collection. There is a black and white photo (8"x10") of a super cool United DC-8 miniature model plane. It has an overlaid piece of paper with a partial sketch of the plane and notes written on it. Next is a man holding a miniature model of a United DC-8 with other model planes and cars in the background (8" tall x 7 1/2" across). There is a great United Air Lines seal with notes written on it (8"x10"). It has a piece of paper overlaid on top of it. There is a United DC - 8, DC-8 Mainliner sheet of paper with notes. Another DC-8 Mainliner piece of paper with an address a the top. Two long pieces of paper with United mock-up art. One reads: United and the other reads: United, United DC-8 DC8. And you will also get some notes for job 755, dated 1957. The notes are talking about colors, shields, decals and sizes. The collection is in overall good/very good condition showing vintage age as shown. The items will be well packed and shipped media mail.
