Description: Featured is a vintage 1930s postcard depicting a Bird's Eye View of the Sunken Gardens & Golf Course at the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach, Virginia. * Teich New Old Stock -Mint. Note: Top Edge not cropped whatsoever and print complete and clearly visible. However faint it may appear, there is No line across/down front or back of card ... inherent to scanning process and a new development. This postcard came direct from the Curt Teich Archives. The card has been in our possession for approximately 15+ years ... long before the Curteich digitally archived images found their permanent home with The Newberry Institute. At the time of our acquisition, the Lake County Discovery Museum in IL was the custodian of the company's records, having served in that capacity since 1982. There were two versions of the card printed ... the other has a deckled edge ... that one is available via a separate listing. The images on both cards are identical. The other main difference is that the other card has a bit of a souped up "Heart" Ad for Resort on verso.
