Description: You are looking at a pair of vintage 1939, round, clear glass salt & pepper shakers with chromed metal lids and beaded bases, they were hand crafted by the Imperial Glass Company in their "Candlewick" line. This set is in excellent pre-owned condition ~ no chips, no cracks, no breaks, no corrosion to the lids, no peeling chrome ~ but they both have a whitish "film" inside (see pics). They measure 3 1/2" tall to top of finial on lids x 2" wide at their widest, their beaded bases measure 1 3/4" wide. Their lids alone are 1 3/16" tall x 7/8" wide, without the lids, the bases are 2 5/8" tall with 5/8" wide tops. Together, before packaging for shipping, these shakers weigh a total of 9 1/2 ounces.
