Description: Shiney Brite Christmas ornament featuring "Merry Christmas", and a wonderful scene on the other side of a lady, and child, in the background of a village, trees and church. This one Merry Christmas ornament is more rare because of the great Christmas scene on the other side. The ornament is 3" in diameter and colored in a yellow. These Shiney Brite with the stencil were popular in the mid 1950-60's. Condition is good to fair, but it is vintage, and one thing one needs to remember that ornaments used up until the late 1960's were hung on real trees. Real trees were not too forgiving on the finish of ornament.I have my own mothers from the 1950's , and so remember, the wonderful moments of decorating the trees.
