Description: Vintage Minton M238 China Cup & Saucer Set. Measurements: The cup is 2-3/8" in Height x 3-1/2" in Width x 4-1/4" Length (at Handle). The saucer is 5-3/4" in Width x 1-1/8" in Height. Pattern Description: Scattered Flowers, Swirl Rim, Scalloped, Gold Trim. Made in England. This pattern is discontinued. Maker's Marks: The cup and saucer both have a black printed 'MINTONS' Globe inside Laurels 'Est'd 1793 - ENGLAND' mark. This mark was used from ca. 1912 until 1950. The saucer also has an impressed mark of "MINTON CHINA 6-45', indicating that it was made in June 1945.
