Description: A fine signed, figural pendant necklace. In 18k yellow gold. By the renowned Greek jeweler - Minas Spiridis. Entitled: The Golden Pouch In the form of a (filled) cloth pouch with a hidden compartment to the reverse. Designed in 1976. In 1996, Minas began collaborating with Georg Jensen and re-issued a Jensen factory version of the pendant. Minas continues to produce the necklace as one of their signature pieces. Marked 750 for 18k gold fineness to the interior and with a square hallmark with a faint strike that appears to read MINAS in tall, thin letters. (We think this is very likely an early iteration of the necklace. Contemporary pieces now all bear an impressed cursive Minas signature.) Together with a black cord that terminates in a threaded clasp. Simply wonderful, high-level design!
