Description: This beautiful mid-century modern leaf shaped tray was manufactured by the Syroco of Syracuse, New York likely in the 1950s. The composite pressed wood process that created this tray was patented by the Syracuse Ornamental Company (Syroco) and creates a dimensional, smooth finish to the piece. The rich brown color compliments the natural leaf shape. This tray was packed up in 1964 and carefully stored for the last 60 years. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or discoloration. There is a minor scuff mark (for lack of a better word) at the top tip of the leaf (see last photo). This is almost un-noticeable. I didn't even see it until I photographed the piece. This should not affect the display quality. The tray measures 8" tall, 6ΒΌ" across, and 1" deep. The perfect accent piece to a mid-century modern, nature/cabin/lodge, or boho decor.
