Description: What a beautiful piece! I have never seen one before! Very detailed formal and leaf design on top. The gold mesh is very nice- no breaks. It is a little darker around the edges where you would hold it. Inside it opens to a little purse compartment- lined with a golden satin. That is in very good shape. There is a little silver door that opens to what would have been powder or rouge. It almost has a mirror finish- so maybe at one time was used as a mirror. The puff and screen look unused- very good condition. The diameter of the purse is 3” when laying down. The chain is 3” long. There is one spot of corrosion on the chain- I took a closeup for you.
