Description: I think this gold toned box would make a beautiful ring box for a vintage or vintage inspired engagement ring!This little hinged box is marked "JB 928", which means it was made by the Jennings Brothers company in Bridgeport, Connecticut. I cannot find a catalogue with this make in it, the company created metal work 1891 to 1953 so it is at least 70 years old. It has an art nouveau inspired design, so this box is not symmetrical on top, with the highest point being 2 inches. Approximately the box is 2.25 inches L and 1.75 inches W. The box no longer has it's lining, and there is normal wear that can be seen on its surface.
