Description: This is a vintage wristwatch dating to about 1950 and the watch is the earliest version of JLC's legendary Memovox watches. It is handsome, clean, and in very good condition. This has been professionally cleaned and checked. The watch runs very well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The alarm sets and works as it should. The case is stainless steel and it is about 35mm wide not including the signed crowns. It is about 40mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a high quality LeCoultre caliber 489 and it has 17 jewels. The band is a new, excellent quality Made in the USA leather strap. The total length of the watch is about 9 3/8 inches. This uses a 17 to 18mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The dial is very nice and has rose gold tone hands and markers. It is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please see my other listings...I am always listing rare watches and chronographs.
