Purple / Amethyst Colored Carnival Glass 3D Effect, Church images are raised glass and back of plate tells story of the Church it represents. Measures 8" round Gorgeous set of iridescent carnival glass plates produced by Fenton in the 1970’s. This collection of Christmas in America Collector Series had a total of 12 plates. Fenton destroyed the molds after each year so these are the real deal. Each plate has a molded image of a church with its story molded on the back. #1 plate is from 1970 - "The Little Brown Church in the Vale" Bradford, Iowa #2 plate is from 1971 - "The Old Brick Church" Isle of Wright County, Virginia All plates are signed on the back with the Fenton Mark. Beautiful pieces, images do not do them justice. 1970 and 1971 Plates No chips, no cracks. ALL plates have the word "FENTON" molded into the plate. As a seller I do my best to represent the product I am selling. I take numerous pictures and make them as clear as possible. With that in mind please remember that these items are vintage or antique which means they are 20 to 100+ years old. They have been around a long time and usually not sitting in a cupboard untouched.
