Description: Very cool, vintage General Electric 1/20 HP motor. Runs very smoothly. I don't know when this was manufactured, but the two patent numbers refer to patents filed in 1928 and 1930. The original power cord was badly frayed and the plug was broken. I've replaced the plug and twisted wire with modern, Rayon-covered, 18 gauge twisted wiring with a two prong connector. Be smart, don't run this on a non-GFCI circuit! The new wire is attached with crimped barrel connectors and insulated with adhesive-lined heat-shrink tubing. I've also wiped the motor down with a microfiber cloth and oiled it with 3-in-1 oil. No other reconditioning has been done and the vintage patina is intact.
