Description: Vintage Dunlop 27" British Road Bike Straight Side Rims ( 32h & 40h ) Vintage Dunlop 27" Straight Side Road Bike Rims for Early British Prewar Road Bikes & Path Racers. A 32 spoke hole rim and a 40 spoke hole rim, A British Bike Set. Early Straight Side early Dunlop Rim that is approximately 23.25mm wide. The Straight side rim is early Technology and Not Really considered clincher, at High Pressure some tires blow off thus it was used at lower pressures and is very tire picky. These Dunlop Rims are Historically significant but would stay clear unless your a expert user. This 27" rim has ISO or Bead Seat Diameter (BSD) 630mm, 27" size is bigger than 700c and was used before 700c wheels became the standard. Schwinn & Raleigh used the 27" standard much longer than manufacturers. The 27" Clincher Rim for use 27" x 1" - 27" x 1 1/8" - and Most common 27" x 1 1/4" tires. Note: 27" is NOT the Same as 27-Five. The Used Rim is used, a solid rim, show age, can have brake surface wear, may be wavy but should pull true in the lacing, may have nicks, scratches, fading, and decal loss, nice survivors and look old.
