Description: Vintage Italian Colnago C40 59cm Carbon Fiber Road Bike Frame & Fork Vintage Restored Italian Colnago C40 Carbon Fiber Racing Road Bike Frame and Fork. This Iconic Frame set was one of Colnago early entry's into Carbon Fiber bikes and this frame set was all built up in Campagnolo Super Record parts. I suspect it is from 2001 and the third version of the C40. I believe Colnago sizing is center to top 59cm. Actual Size is: Seat tube 57.5m Center to Center or 59cm Center to Top, 62 crank center to seat mast top, with a 58cm center to center top tube. The Head tube is 172mm tall. The Frame and Fork are Carbon Fiber Shaped Tubes & Lugs with Colnago Dropouts. The 1" Thread-less Carbon Fiber star Fork has 100mm Spacing and the Frame has 130mm Rear Spacing. Rear Chain stay measured from center of bottom bracket to center of rear chain stay drop out is approximately 41.5cm. Frame & Fork is Italian Standard. Serial Number looks to be painted over. Frame is previously Used and has been repainted, looks good, Repaint by Cycle Art, Good work but they put their Calling Card in your paint job, Gloss Black with Gold Leaf Logos, that is Custom and a Nice Touch, a far cry from the original flashy paint work, Repaint looks very professional, minimal scratches, nicks, & blemishes. A Pretty Good Looker. Plenty of Pictures to mull over. Whats Shown weighs a tad over 3.5 pounds. This frame had racing 700c wheels with tubular tires, Not Included but for wheel size reference.
