Description: Greetings vintage axe lovers and collectors ! For your consideration is a lightly used Collins axe. This axe is completely covered in olive drab paint that appears to by a factory coating. It is approximately 27 long overall and weighs 2 Lbs 15 oz. I’m not sure of its exact origins but it does appear to be US military surplus. I purchased it from the estate of a military surplus dealer. PLEASE NOTE : This axe has a “vibration” in the handle ! While moving it around I noticed it doesn’t feel perfectly solid. It might just be from the way its mounted. This axe is in great condition,but it has been used once maybe twice.
