Description: This auction is for a set of 3 bowls by Brown’s Pottery in a purple & green glaze. Stunning pattern in person! They present well and look great hanging on a wall or in a plate rack. Measures approximately 9.25” round. In very good vintage condition. No cracks, breaks, or paint loss/damage. There are areas of roughness and chips to the glaze on the back side of the edges as seen in the last few photos. “Brown's Pottery has been in Arden NC since the 1920s, first at a nearby location where the Wells Fargo bank is now, and then at 2398 Hendersonville Road since 1940. They closed in March 2020 but anticipate to reopen soon in Mt Pisgah. This is an 11th generation family owned business most famous for their face jugs” From a smoke free home.
