Description: Offered for Sale is this gorgeous Art Deco Era inspired Bakelite "clamper" bracelet. The bracelet is a gorgeous marbled mixture of translucent amber and rust colored Bakelite. The front of the bracelet has been decorated with deep crosshatch carvings. The back of the bracelet is smooth. The bracelet is 7/8" wide and the inside measurements are 1 5/8" from top to bottom and 2 1/4" from side to side. The bracelet weighs 42 grams. The condition of the bracelet is excellent. No chips, scratches, or other wear related condition issues were noted. The bracelet tested positive with Simichrome polish. (See photo #10). The tension of the spring in the clasp is outstanding and the bracelet snaps shut and stays shut when being worn. All four pins holding the clasp to the bracelet are seated firmly in place.
