Description: 3 vintage Native American Acoma Pottery owl figurines or fetishes.They are 1-1/2" high. All the same mold but hand painted.I believe these were painted by 3 different artists.2 have similar faces (dot eyes and v beak) but the rest of the painting is different. The one with more breast feathers has a signature - MONICAThe third has a more expressive face and sgraffito design on the front. OK, someone (NOT me) took a black marker to the bottoms of these. You can still see some letters from the original makers at the edges of the marker lines. The MONICA is definitely under the marker. If you get just the right light you can kind of see that there is writing under the marker, but difficult to read. In nice condition, except for the marker... I don't usually ship on Saturday, as our little post office is closed. Most likely would ship on Monday, if purchased after noon on Friday or Saturday morning. But, IF I catch the mail carrier, it will go out on Saturday. I don't put things in the mailbox this time of year. Thanks for understanding.!
