The Serial Number is 1944, which indicates that this toy was produced on the 194th day of 1984. The Allis-Chalmers Gleaner L3 Combine harvester was built by Gleaner in Independence Missouri. Introduced in 1977, it used either a 145 hp Allis-Chalmers 301 engine for the gear drive models or an Allis-Chalmers 426 engine at 158 hp in the hydrostatic models. It could be equipped with a 24' grain head and an 8 row corn head. This is a very nice older, 39 years old, diecast metal replica that would make a great gift or awesome addition to any collection/display. Thanks for looking.
