Hawthorne Calif. U.S.A Molded into the bottom of one foot is "Japan." Allan was Ken's Buddy and he was first introduced in 1964 and was also Midge's boyfriend. Allan was discontinued after his second release in 1966. It wasn't until 1990 Mattel finally released a new version of Allan. Mattel did not make an Allan Brand wardrobe, so he shared Ken's wardrobe. This Allan Doll has straight legs with molded auburn hair, brown eyes and wears an Allan Label (LABEL WAS TORN OFF OF JACKET) with multi-colored zig-zag edge strips with white terry cloth collar jacket, blue strap cork sandals, white metal stand with wood base and a Vintage 1963 Mattel Allan box. MISSING THE SOLID BLUE SHORTS. SPECIAL NOTE: BOTH OF ALLAN'S ARMS MAY NOT BE ORIGINAL TO THIS DOLL, THE HANDS APPEAR NOT TO MATCH?? ALSO THE BOX AND STAND MAY NOT BE ORIGINAL TO THIS PARTICULAR DOLL. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs Condition Notes: Allan shows only minor wear with age and play. Allan has A FEW MINOR BLEMISHES, A FEW TINY NICKS AND/OR SURFACE SCRATCHES. His face has very little paint loss and he has all his fingers and toes. His legs & arms are tightly jointed. NOTE: ARMS MAY NOT BE ORIGINAL, HIS HANDS DO NOT APPEAR TO MATCH?? Jacket shows a TON OF WEAR. IT IS DISCOLORED, WHITE COLLAR IS DINGY, HOLE UNDERNEATH ONE SLEEVE, ALLAN LABEL WAS REMOVED AND HAS A LONG LOOSE THREAD ON THE INSIDE OF JACKET. MISSING THE ORIGINAL BLUE SHORTS. The Cork Sandals are in good shape and fit nicely. White Metal stand HAS PAINT LOSS AND SURFACE SCRATCHES, otherwise decent shape. The original box IS EXTREMELY ROUGH AND IS MISSING THE INSERT. BOX SHOWS A TON OF WEAR FROM AGE, IT HAS BLEMISHES, SURFACE SCRATCHES, TEARS, DISCOLORATION, CREASING, WRINKLING, STAINS, BOX TOP HAS ONE SPLIT CORNER, BOX BOTTOM HAS TOP HALF ALMOST TORN OFF.
