Description: These heavy, cast metal lamps belonged to my Grandmother. They have an acanthus design with a raised relief “shoulder” scroll and a fluted and wreathed base. Lamps are marked “CN9” on underside of base. Very rare and desirable original paper pleated floral shades have a crocheted top and bottom finish. The wire framework that held the shades is long gone. Paper shades have the following condition issues: small pinholes, small paper cracks, small paper crinkles. There are no major imperfections. With the correct wire framework they would be perfectly usable and they look lovely and warm with light behind them. They are in remarkably good condition for their age. Shades laid flat measure approximately 11-1/2” at top, 20” at bottom, 9” height. Wiring, plugs, sockets and harps were replaced in the 1970’s. Replacement plugs are non-polarized, sockets are Leviton. Each lamp weighs 3 pounds, 2 ounces. Each shade weighs 3.5 ounces. Cast Lamp Height: 10-1/2”. Harp Height: 8-1/2”. Total Lamp Height: 19”. Lamp Base Width: 6-1/2” LAMPS AND SHADES WILL BE MAILED SEPARATELY. Non-smoking home. Lamps have been wiped down with mild soap and water, shades have been blown with an air duster.
