Description: Vintage 1920's Crosley Model 51 Regenerative 2 tube battery operated radio that is in good working condition. Radio was connected to my ARBE-III Universal Battery Eliminator and a Peerless loudspeaker and the radio received stations almost immediately, with only a short antenna. In order to power it up and get better reception, you'll need a good regulated power supply (As noted above or similar) a longwire outdoor antenna (at least 100 feet long and 10 feet above the ground) and a working pair of 1920's headphones...or a sensitive 1920's era horn/loudspeaker. The listing is for the radio only. I will try to post a video of the radio working, but if it does not show up, please do not hesitate to message me and I can send you a video. Cosmetically, the radio is in exceptional condition, with the original finish simply cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax. The front panel is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. All of the knobs/dials turn smoothly and properly and the inside of the radio is very clean.
