Description: This is an exceptionally nice collectible Coleman lantern model 242B dated 1/8 (January 1938) from my private collection. It comes with the original paperwork and also includes the highly sought after Coleman No.36 Handy Pail made from galvanized steel. This quite honestly is probably the nicest sport lantern in my collection. It appears to have only been test fired and looks practically new. It’s fully functional too for anyone wanting to relive their childhood camping adventures or use for sport fishing, hunting, etc. I’m also including a brand new full box of “period correct” Coleman mantles (late 1930s era) and a brand new full box of six (6) “period correct” T66DL Double Life Coleman Generators. These generators are nickel plated just like the lantern fount. Both of these Coleman lantern accessories will display very nicely with the lantern and are extremely difficult to find for sale.
