Description: Huichol Indian fertility scene yarn painting. As part of their religious ritual they would take peyote and then record their visions. Each color and symbol had specific meaning. The piece measures 11-3/4" sq and was found in the Chicago area. The reverse has a small stamp "Made in Mexico" in upper right. A strip pf velcro was used to hang it. Colors are vibrant. I only ship within the U.S., sorry not to Hawaii or Alaska with prior arrangements. I ship priority insured.
