Description: Vintage, Urgos tambour Mantel Clock. 8-day pendulum movement. Not sure of age. Chimes at the half hour and strikes out the hour. I found this at a thrift store, it had no pendulum, and the suspension spring was broken. I got another pendulum (let me tell you, those things are not cheap!) and replaced the suspension spring, cleaned it and at first it ran good for about a month then it stopped, and I have been unable to get it running again. Appears to be made of oak. Has some dings on the corners and some slight scratches, especially on the back door, but overall looks very good. The face and hands look good, with only a few scratches on the face. The Arabic numbers are clearly seen. The glass and brass bezel close tightly. There is some tarnish on the brass. Back door latches. You can see the Urgos emblem on the movement, there are no other markings. Selling as is.
