The lid is included!There is also another signature added to the bottom that says "Mike Beatty" I'm not sure what that means but maybe someone was taking a tour of the production center and was able to sign their name before the cookie jar was fired? Still cool! This cookie jar is in amazing condition for it's age! DETAILS:The jar is clean inside and out, there is a small amount of wear and chipping of paint in various places including but not limited to:-Elephant on top the lid (CHECK LISTING PHOTOS FOR DETAILS)-The front around the opening seems to have been cracked at one point and then repaired, you can barely tell-The left side with giraffe has spots of paint missing Please be assured that this jar will be packed extremely well (see last photo of listing)and shipped via USPS Priority MailAlso please allow up to 3 business days for processing although I usually ship items much fasterFeel free to contanct us with any questions or concerns!Thanks for looking-C&C Goods
