Description: They Came to Baghdad. Published by Dodd, Mead in 1951. This is a scarce First US Edition with the dust jacket being priced $2.50 and not the much more common book club edition. The book itself is in very good condition for its age with wear to the board and spine tips. Pastedowns and endpapers have toned a bit. Other pages are quite clean. Dust jacket is in good + condition for its age and has wear, rubbing, tears, creasing, chipping with loss, scuff marks, soiling, etc. Still a pretty decent jacket on a first US edition that is getting hard to find. See pictures to judge condition for yourself. Now wrapped in a Brodart cover to help protect from further damage.
