Description: For sale today is the classic, very rare, and out-of-print (oop) Brockhampton Press hardcover (hc) graphic novel The Stage Coach (Lucky Luke) by Rene Goscinny and Michael Morris, published in 1972 in Great Britain. Plagued by constant bandit attacks, Wells Fargo is falling on hard times. To restore public trust in their services, the company sends one well-publicised stagecoach from Denver to San Francisco. It will have the best whip as driver, a motley crew of daring passengers, and-to escort them and a precious cargo of gold-none other than Lucky Luke. A wise precaution, because every desperado in the country will be waiting on the coach's planned route. I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in very good condition especially when considering its age, with a fully attached spine and great overall inside pages (photo#12 example) with minor levels/small patches of natural yellowing/staining around the first half of the book. Externally, it has some lesser signs of wear. **Photo#3:-Spine edge: Small ding near its middle, another ding near its lower corner. Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Tiny peels/dings where it meets both covers. **Photo#5: -Lower spine corner: Some scuffing, tiny ding where it meets the front cover. **Photo#6: -Front cover top edge: 2 dings towards its spine corner, light if any otherwise shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Tiny ding. **Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: Light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Tiny ding/scuff. **Photo#8: -Back cover top edge: Little if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Tiny ding, shows as a minuscule scuff on ~4 pages. **Photo#9:-Back cover bottom edge: Light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Tiny ding/scuff. **Additionally: Front cover possesses 2 tiny dings near its page edge's middle (photo#10). It also has ~5 horizontal scratches near its center (photo#11 w/illumination), with 2 tiny indents near its top edge. Back cover has some light scratches around its top half. Pages show some tiny dings/light creases around their bottom edges. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit. I always pack books firmly between pieces of cardboard (among other materials/layers) via Gemini Comic mailers or bubble mailers depending on size; usually utilizing boxes for larger lots. If you have any questions or would like any additional photos, feel free to let me know. I'm always happy to combine shipping costs - either message me before completing purchase for a pre-payment price adjustment, or alternatively I can provide a refund afterwards. Thanks, and have a tremendous day!
