Description: Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Lenox “The Lenox Hostess Set – Giftware” Single (1) Salad Plate (Strawberry Peach Blackberry). At the time this listing was written, multiple items were available in this pattern as well as many other patterns, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The salad plate measures approximately 7.625” in diameter and is marked with or with a slight variation of the following backstamp: “The Lenox Orchard Hostess Set, Fine Porcelain, Lenox, Lenox 1993,” and some of the plates have a sticker that reads “Crafted in Japan.” The plate has a white base with a fruit and floral design (strawberry, peach, blackberry) in addition to a gold rim/verge. The pattern has been discontinued and the years of manufacture for the pattern are between 1991 and 1996. Condition: Overall, the salad plates are in very good lightly used condition for their age. The plates were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (chips, cracks, crazing) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The pieces may show light utensil marks, light cleaning or storage scratches, or minor imperfections to the gold rim and verge, however the pieces look only lightly used, if ever.
