Description: The Gifted: Emma Dumont/Polaris X-men Knife Set w/Propstore COA These (2) Hero metal Benchmade Barrage pocket knife set was screen-used by actress Emma Dumont as character "Lorna Dane"/"Polaris" in the X-Men-related show The Gifted, based on the Marvel comics universe. It's been modified by production with custom paint accents, and the blade may have been dulled (but still has an edge). It comes with a Propstore COA from the show's studio-sanctioned official event auction, as well as its original boxes and instruction insert. Polaris can be seen using her pocket knifes in Season 1, particularly in Episode 8 "threat of eXtinction." In the episode, she can be seen playing with her pocket knife--floating it in the air with the magnetic powers she inherited from her father Magneto, before grabbing it and putting it away. Later, when a mutant double-agent refuses to have her memories viewed by Beautiful Dreamer, she uses 3 of these pocket knives to threaten the double-agent. The knives themselves are a Benchmade Barrage 580 154cm with Osborne Assisted Opening and AXIS Lock. The assisted opening feature uses a spring mechanism to ease manual opening and closing, while the lock feature allows the blade to safely lock into the open or closed position until a spring-loaded sliding toggle is activated. It is in excellent condition, with the following notes: 1) it has had a silver paint or marker accent added by production, and the silver is wearing off in places; 2) the blade may have been dulled by production--it still has its edge and could easily be resharpened for functional use, but it may not be factory-sharp anymore due to production use.
