Taught by instructor Carrie Ogawa Wong, the benefits of Tai Chi include relieving the physical effects of stress, improving lower body and increasing leg strength, promoting deep breathing, enhancing mental concentration, and much more. **About the Instructor:** As a lifelong teacher, trainer, and mother, Carrie Ogawa Wong has been a practitioner in the martial arts for 44 years. She has been a nationally ranked competitor in hand forms and weapons. Carrie has been featured in magazines, television specials, authored a book, and produced a training video. She was inducted into the Martial Arts History Hall of Fame in 2005 and recently received the Distinguished Sifu Award. She has been teaching Tai Chi for over 27 years. She teaches at the White Lotus Kung Fu Studio, Lee Strasberg's Theatre and Film Institute, and volunteers at the Nikkei Senior Gardens.
