Description: For your consideration, Dr4 Watches has on offer a quite rare Tag Heuer Carrera Heritage Calibre 6 Automatic cool timepiece. This is a really interesting and beautiful watch that features a stunning "pizza slice" scalloped dial (each slice with a repeating concentric circle pattern) and three different strapping option. Frankly, this one is so versatile and cool that an exceptionally wide range of "looks" can be achieved by the choice of bracelet or strap. For a dressier or business meeting companion go with a plain black or brown leather (not included). I decided to play up the sportier side of the versatility with a stunning blue rally strap and a mesh bracelet as two additional strapping options for this fine timepiece.I find this watch to be a top choice for somebody seeking "one watch" that is mechanical (e.g., not quartz), interesting, visually stunning and versatile.Of course we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity. We are extremely thorough in our listings and we still absolutely encourage questions regarding the timepieces. If you have questions regarding the specifications, provenance, history, etc., no problem. Just ask if you have a question! We only deal in 100% real watches because reputation is critical for us and in this industry in particular. We always have the inventory in our possession. We do not do the broker thing. The condition of this watch is as follows: Pre-owned in excellent condition. I would rate this cool timepiece at 95% and the extra leather strap and mesh bracelet at 99%+. Tag Heuer is one of those eternally fashionable, cool and functional Swiss timekeeping brands. Tag Heuer (and Heuer which predated their aquisition by Techniques d'Avant Garde) has always aimed at extreme sports for inspiration... and for "Brand Ambassadors" who are accomplished in whatever their sporting or entertainment endeavors. Tag Heuer has targetted talent in Formula 1 racing, supermodels, actors, DJ's and extreme sports mavericks. This timepiece leans into its rich tradions of the pre-TAG timeframe that dates back to 1860 with a classic, slightly retro sporting timepiece. Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include: 1. This watch is classically sized at 39 mm and works well on most wrists --- only very small wrists, say smaller than 6.5 inches, should avoid this one. I find that the lugs extend a bit so it wears a little bigger than 39mm in my opinion. I have an average size wrist and this watch works exceptionally well on my wrist. The original bracelet, which is versatile and somber, will accomodate up to a 7.5 inch wrist. The other two strap options can go larger and bring more "at play" occassions to the watch versatility.2. This is peculiar watch that makes classic, ever-so-retro sporting and luxury statement. The blue hands and raised full arabic numeral indices are stunning --- see the third picture (a stock picture) which does the best job showing off the vibrant blue hands. They also go exceptionally well with that vibrant blue leather rally strap. Very Steve McQueen, very Formula 1 and very at home in a cafe along the French Riviera. Or in Atlanta. 3. The opaline silver dial rewards a closer look at the intricate pattern and detailing. It compliments rather than competes with the bracelet and time telling functions. The small seconds complication, with the enclosed framed date window, is well propotioned and balanced. The whole watch is very harmonious in design, nuanced and balanced. 4. I find that the mesh bracelet allows this one to pull off a retro seaside aesthetic. While this is not a dive watch or one that you would swim with, if you have a lake, ocean or beach view then go with the stainless steel shark mesh bracelet and enjoy sipping your drink with an enternally cool timepiece on your wrist. Sunrises with coffee, lunch with oysters, sunset with some fruity drink and this on the mesh. 5. One of the joys of mechanical timepieces is appreciating the movement. Manual wind timepieces are mechanical and require the wearer to wind them (typically daily). Automatic timepieces, like this one, allow for manually winding but also take the energy from the wearer's wrist and arm movements to power-up the timepiece. On the back of the watch you can see the mechanical wizardry in action. 6. This Carrera is powered by the Calibre 6 movement which is an ETA movement but in chronometer form. To meet these standards (called a COSC standard) a movement must meet some finishing and quality standards in addition to operating with an accuracy of -4 to +6 seconds per day at the time of production. While this watch is keeping great time a fresh servicing would be needed to restore it to that level of awesome chronometry and to also ensure the 100 meter water resistance as seals over time degrade. 6. Rounding our the listing and the package is a Carrera box. I do not have the original Tag Heuer box but I had this Carrera (either watch or sunglasses... I am not sure... as I owned both) box laying around. So it goes with the watch and the rally strap and mesh bracelet. And I had to find a generic white pillow for the Carrera box. So it is a motley collection of collateral but the strap and bracelet is awesome and this timepiece would have set you back about $3,700 out the door in years past. Score this tremendous value. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation. We should always be the first port-of-call if there is an issue. 100% delighted customers so far and we aim to keep it that way. Please examine the pictures, what you see is what you get. The only exceptions are the black case that we photoraph on and the English Bull Dog which we put in our group shots because we think it looks great. The Bull Dog is a James Bond tie-in and we kind of really like James Bond. And finally, we are an Atlanta based business but we also operate out of North Florida (some inventory in both places) as I like to include my brother in the business some. Thank you for your consideration, Steve
