Description: George V Silver Jubilee Medal 1935 and George VI Silver Coronation Medal 1937 mounted as Pendant Brooches An unusual pair of pendant brooches with identical fittings, each made from a sterling silver commemorative medal of 31mm diameter, having a loop soldered to the top, and suspended from an unmarked silver pendant bar brooch fitting. Both are in good condition, with the brooch fittings working perfectly. Please see the pics for exact condition detail.I couldn't find any other similar items, so these mounts must have been custom-made by a jeweller. They have done a very neat job, using sympathetic bar brooch fittings with a polished front that really catches the eye. The first a 1935 King George V silver jubilee medal - Depicts George V with Mary of Teck, and Windsor Castle on the backThe second a 1937 King George VI coronation medal. - Depicts George VI on one side and his wife Queen Elizabeth (The Queen Mother) on the other.
