Description: This project started with a old aluminum hard hat, stripped off the tired old white paint, found a couple smell dings, too small to care about. I found a small "flame" piece from somewhere ???, attached to the top. The three copper pieces are made from the 3 copper legs off of an old coffee pot. The front side had different bolt holes in it from different previous attachments, so I covered the holes with some aluminum plating of my own design. Then finally I purchased a pair of copper "steampunk" goggles off the inter web, and there you have it. I have included the original head band/suspension, but it is poo poo, buyer can find new hard hat suspension kits at Home Depot- -other hardware outlets- -inter web.
