It has 3 seats with Rubber (TPU) seat cushions. A unique system keeps the figures fixed to the seats without the cumbersome seatbelts used in other toys. The ship can be held upside down and all the figures stay in the seats. Very easy to put the characters into the seat and get them out. And the "Belt" matches the black part of the suits and is almost as invisible as a cloaked ship. Tom Paris fits in the pilots seat and his "Captain Proton Control Panel" sits to his right. 2 Joysticks fit his hands as he sits in the pilots seat. 2 other figures sit behind the pilot in their Control Stations. There are many places to stash some of the "extras" that come with these characters. The seats also rotate. No figures are included. The Canopy lifts up and the Canopy/Mid section is removable to gain access to the rear seats. The back hatch also Opens and Closes and all removable pieces are secured with Neodymium Magnets. For this reason, do not let any minors play with this toy without close supervision. The playmat is made of soft rubber and has a custom image of the Voyager Shuttle Bay floor. Stand Clear!
