Description: Postage stamps, various South American countries, from the 1940s to 1960s: Bolivia, Suriname, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Venezuela, and Chile. The lot would make a great starting kit! Stamps are on and off-paper. Condition is as pictured. As an added note, two of the Brazilian stamps are on an envelope (cancelled 1952(?)) that may or may not be addressed to a misspelled Van Heflin at Metro Goldwyn Mayer. Mr. Heflin left MGM in 1949, which may be why the envelope is stamped "uncalled for." Unfortunately the envelope contents are missing. Who knows? The prior owner was a stamp collector; I am not. I cannot answer anything specific about an individual stamp.
