Serotta Atlanta 1996 Reynolds Steel frame and fork, restored, 54cm

Description: This listing will expire on 1/17/25 For Sale. 1996 Serotta Atlanta, Serial number AS-54-944 Condition: Like new. Frame size: 54cm, known as a 54L it has a 55cm top tube measured ctc and a 54cm seat tube ctc. Rear wheel spacing is 130mm to fit modern 10, 11 and 12 speed components. Reynolds Colorado Concept tubing with brazed lug construction. History: I purchased the frame without a fork but I was fortunate to buy a Colorado fork from another Serotta owner. The Lotus yellow fork did not match the Competition yellow on the rear triangle so I took it to veteran Serotta painter Steven Breault at Hidden Farm Custom Bicycle Painting to have the fork matched to the frame.The fork was stripped, the frame clearcoat was removed, the red paint was touched up as needed and the fork and rear triangle were matched in Lotus yellow. The inlays were painted and a fresh high gloss clearcoat was applied and wet sanded to perfection. Prior to being painted the frame was professionally aligned and the inside of the tubes were coated with Frame Saver. All threads were chased. Because the fork came from a larger frame, I had the fork steerer tube threaded to match this frame. Don't worry the fork rake is correct for this frame. I have not cut the steerer tube.
