Description: Offered is an original United States military issue op rod manufactured for use with the M1 Garand infantry rifle. This scarce op rod is marked D-6535382 IHC for manufacture by International Harvester. It is heat lot coded “C” on the underside of the handle. While it will fit any Garand, it is correct for IHC Garands produced after May, 1954. It is offered as pictured and shows very little loss of its dark grey parkerized finish. A hard to find part for your IHC Garand.
