Description: View my other auctions for many more early Tootsietoy, tin toys, cap guns, and other vintage toys being listed! Shipping will be combined where possible for items ending on the same day. Very scarce c.1895 cast iron horse drawn delivery wagon that was made by The Wilkins Toy Company and is pictured in their 1895 catalog (see last image). This 9.5" long toy is very scarce and features a cast iron double horse hitch set pulling a steel wagon with cast iron wheels. The sides are still faintly marked "CHOICE FAMILY GROCERIES" "TEA, COFFEE, ?" This has a great look to it and is in it's original paint, with wonderful black pinstriping around the wheel edges! There is some paint wear as shown, the lettering on the sides has faded, and the steel wagon cover has a couple of slight bends in the top as shown in the picture from the back. There are no cracks or breaks to the iron. The cast iron seated driver is an antique iron driver and it fits and looks great with the toy, but is not the original driver sold with the toy. Winning bidder pays $13.00 shipping within the U.S., no international shipping available. Payment by PayPal is due within 3 days of auction end (I reserve the right to reject payments from unconfirmed addresses).
