Description: Up for a reasonable buy-it-now is a recently completed Revell 1949 Mercury custom. Modifications from the original kit are: Buick Side trim, shaved parking lights, shaved taillights, custom taillights on the ear bumper and two-tone paint. The car has been slammed. The paint is gloss black with a metallic blue panel below the Buick side trim. The interior is medium blue and white. All the window trim and side trim has been covered with foil. To get the car this low, the kit's suspension has been deleted and the tires are fixed in place. I also did not install an engine therefore the hood is glued shut. The paint is, if I must say so, is excellent. Both the black and metallic blue have multiple layers of clear coat that have been rubbed to an excellent shine.
