Restored Parker Duofold Jr Lucky Curve FP, Black and Pearl, 14 K Nib

Description: This is a restored vintage Parker Duofold Junior in Jade, from the 1920s, in very good condition, ready to write and with a very smooth nib. Please see the photos and read the full description below. The pen has been fully serviced. It was disassembled, the nib and feed were ultrasonically cleaned and a new sac was fitted. The pen was manually and lightly polished after covering the imprints and metal parts. After assembling, the pen was inspected, tested and the nib was adjusted. It writes nicely, with good flow and should be ready to write for many years. Nib: the nib is a factory replacement Gold 14 K nib. It writes a very wet and very smooth medium line (please, see the writing sample in the last photo; the squares are 5mm X 5mm).Size: 4 1/2 in (about 11.4 cm).Filling system: Button filler with a new sac. Cap: The celluloid is very clean, and the color is excellent. There are NO cracks, gouges or deep scratches. There are micro-scratches and there may be light scratches compatible with use and the age.Body: The celluloid is very clean, and there are NO cracks, gouges or deep scratches. The color is a little discolored, mostly evenly, except near the section (please see photos) - still the body's color is significantly better than the average for Jade Duofolds. Maybe a slight bit of brassing on the ball of the clip, otherwise perfect.Imprint: the barrel imprint is slightly worn but fully legible.Personal engravings: NONE. Feel free to ask any questions.
